Classes and Dress Codes

• Tiny Tots: Young students are introduced to the basics of ballet while improving their strength and coordination. (Girls: pink tights, leotard, pink leather ballet shoes. Boys: T-shirt, shorts/pants, black jazz shoes)
• Ballet: Students receive the necessary training for classical and contemporary ballet movements. This is the foundation of all dance styles. (Pink tights, black leotard, pink leather ballet shoes)
• Pointe: Older students are eligible to take this class at the Studio’s discretion. Ballet is taken to a higher level through the art of dancing on pointe. (Black leotard, pink tights, pink pointe shoes)
• Lyrical: This class combines the skills and techniques of ballet and all types of jazz. (Leotard with shorts or jazz pants, tan tights, tan split-sole jazz shoes)
• Jazz: Various styles of dance combining elements of ballet and rhythmic dance. (Leotard, shorts or jazz pants, tan tights, tan split-sole jazz shoes)
• Tap: Students are taught to coordinate steps with music and sounds. (leotard with shorts and tan tights, black Oxford tap shoes)
• Hip Hop: Students are taught street dance styles (t-shirt, shorts/jazz pants, tennis shoes, no street shoes)
• Combo: These classes combine ballet and tap training for students. (Pink tights, black leotard, pink leather ballet shoes)
• Broadway: Students incorporate acting skills and creative movement with dance. (Pink tights, black leotard, pink leather ballet shoes)
• Performing Lines (ages 12 & up): Advanced dance for students looking for additional performance dance. Dancers participate in 2-3 dance showcases in the Cities area. Tryouts are held each August. (leotard, with shorts or jazz pants, pink or tan tights, jazz shoes)
